Alexandra N. Comegys Joins TNS Family Law as an Associate Attorney
Alexandra (“Ally”) N. Comegys joined Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders as an associate attorney in April 2025.
Background
Ally graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2022 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar that year. She then completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Diane E. Adkins-Tobin in the Circuit Court for Harford County. She is an alumna of the Institute of Notre Dame and the College of Charleston.
A clerkship is useful preparation for family law practice. A year spent watching how a judge weighs testimony, reads a file, and reaches a decision teaches things that are difficult to learn from the other side of the bench.
Since Joining the Firm
Ally has become active in the Maryland family law bar. She was elected to the Harford County Bar Association Executive Council for the 2026–2027 bar year, serves on the MSBA Family Law Section Council as a Young Lawyer Section Member, and contributed to a practice manual on Maryland protective and peace order cases.
