Alexandra “Ally” Comegys is an Associate Attorney at Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A., where she represents clients in divorce and child custody matters, along with protective orders. Ally chose family law because of its deeply personal nature. She prioritizes direct, face-to-face advocacy, ensuring that her clients feel understood and empowered rather than overwhelmed by the legal process.

As a Baltimore native, Ally attended the Institute of Notre Dame before earning her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston. Ally completed an internship with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, where she was first introduced to family law and the importance of direct client advocacy. Ally earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

Before joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Diane E. Adkins-Tobin in the Circuit Court for Harford County. Following her clerkship, Ally practiced family law in Harford and Cecil County, further sharpening her skills in regional court systems before bringing her expertise to Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A.

Ally has completed 40-Hour Civil Mediation Training, and she is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Harford County Bar Association.
