Jasmine N. Pope Sworn In as President of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland

On June 16, 2026, TNS Family Law Associate Jasmine N. Pope was sworn in as the 42nd President of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland, Inc. (the “Alliance”).

About the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland

Founded in 1979, the Alliance is Maryland’s first bar association developed by and for Black women attorneys. For more than four decades it has supported the professional advancement of its members and worked to broaden access to the profession across the state.

Jasmine’s theme for her bar year is “Purposefully Present.”

A Year of Leadership Ahead

Jasmine’s election to lead the Alliance reflects the same commitment she brings to her practice. As a Maryland family law attorney, she represents clients in divorce, custody, child support, and related matters, and her leadership in the bar extends that work into the wider legal community.

The TNS Family Law team attended Jasmine’s swearing-in and hosted a reception afterward in celebration. We look forward to her year as President.
