Why Discovery Strategy Decides Cases
Discovery is where family law cases are won and lost, and it happens long before trial. A document request drafted carelessly produces a response that is technically compliant and substantively useless. One drafted well forecloses the evasions, closes the gaps, and builds the record a court will rely on.
That is particularly true in matters involving business interests, complex marital property, or contested income, where the difference between a complete production and an incomplete one can be measured directly in dollars. It matters just as much in custody and post-judgment litigation, where the relevant record is often scattered across financial documents, communications, and third-party records.
