Faith Zellman Khan

Faith Zellman Khan is an Associate Attorney at Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A., where she focuses her practice exclusively on family law. Faith handles a comprehensive range of domestic matters, including divorce, child custody and support, property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and protective orders.

Faith brings a thoughtful and empathetic approach to her work, guiding clients through emotionally complex matters with clarity and care. She understands that her clients are often navigating the most challenging moments of their lives; accordingly, she prioritizes clear communication and compassionate guidance to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and empowered.

Faith earned her Bachelor of Science in Forensic & Investigative Science and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from West Virginia University, graduating magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2023. During law school, Faith served as Assistant Managing Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review, where her published comment examined noncitizen exclusion from federal public benefit programs. She was also a Public Interest Fellowship Recipient and a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society.

Before joining the firm, Faith served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Wendy S. Epstein in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. This experience provided her with an invaluable “behind-the-bench” perspective on how judges evaluate custody, divorce, and marital property disputes—an insight she now uses to build stronger strategies for her clients. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in November 2023.

Faith is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Section Family Friendly Committee, and is also involved with the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Maryland LGBTQ+ Bar Association. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Faith is committed to providing affirming, inclusive representation.

Outside of the office, Faith enjoys exploring new restaurants, learning Hindi, and spending time with her wife and their pets.
